The aim of the REINITIALISE project is to strengthen and stimulate scientific excellence and the innovation capacity of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (Lublin, Poland) in the design and use of digital technologies in the sector of health, in a way that adheres to the ethical principles.
This will be ensured by mutual exchange, knowledge transfer and interdisciplinary cooperation among three leading institutions: KU Leuven (Belgium), the University of Macerata (Italy) and Eurocentro (Italy).
Specific aims are:
- To raise the research profile of the three universities and researchers involved (with a focus on Early Stage Researchers), through mutual learning- and knowledge transfer activities enhancing the capacity for innovation, also thanks to increased opportunities for research collaborations among the partner institutions involved.
- To better integrate the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University with local businesses and public authorities in order to build successful partnerships, to bring research to the market/public system and to transform it into innovative services and products.
- To sustain the adoption at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University of a holistic approach on the research topic of the preservation of fundamental rights in the design and use of digital technologies for e-health service.
- To increase the capacity to attract and successfully manage EU funds at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
